This is looking like an Amazon problem,,,, my Echo’s have seemingly lost some of their Alexa skills, they can’t access my music library when I request songs to be played, can’t connect to other platforms to listen to CNN, CNBC, etc. Now we wait.

I am also having this issue. None of my bulbs or plugs are responsive with Alexa. It says “server is unresponsive” in the Alexa app. 1. Device Model - 2 bulbs kl125p2, 2 plugs hs103p2 2. Model Version 3. Firmware Version - up to date 4. Can you control the device locally (same network) from the Kasa app -yes 5. Can you control the device remotely (LTE or different network) from the Kasa App - yes 6. Any error message you receive from Alexa - server is unresponsive I just had this issue a few weeks ago with my bulbs and if this keeps happening I will have to switch brands of everything. This is so annoying and inconvenient.

@ JJ1 I finally found the solution to this problem. The only thing that solved the error with alexa ¨server unresponsive¨ was to factory reset one of my smart plugs and configure it as the first time and magically, all my plugs worked with alexa again.

 

 

 
these problems should  not happen. It is uncomfortable

Have had the same problem with a whole housefull of tp-link plugs, switches, and lamps. Found out that there has been an Amazon server outage today 12/07/2021. Hopefully, they'll get it resolved soon! Here's a couple web links to a articles I found:

@Carl I have the same problem.  All 4 TP Link still work with the Kasa app, but now Alexa kept saying  Device is unresponsive for all.

They've been working fine for 1 month, but today 12/7/2021, all connections to Alexa stopped working.

I have tried disabling reenabling Skills, and reser, readd all devices but nothing worked.

Kasa version 2.35.1 Build 977

 

I can control these devices locally and remotely using the Kasa app

I was able to control these devices using Alexa for the last few weeks until today.

Alexa was able to rediscover these devices but anytime I try to control the devices using the Alexa app or using Echo Show, the error message from Alexa is:  Device is unresponsive.

Hello everyone who has posted in the last 24 hours.  We were made aware of an AWS outage yesterday that would have affected Kasa as we use AWS as our server host.  We are told that the AWS server outage is cleared so everything should be working now.

That's great. Now, which of the upmteen methods do we use to get things working? Do I need to factory reset all of my EP10's? 1 of them? Forget all in Alexa? etc
