Making IFTTT trigger for smart switches
Would love to see a trigger on IFTTT or some sort of native functionality in the Kasa app that would allow me to activate a smart plug when I manually press a smart switch. I'm looking to activate lights on both sides of my bed with a single button press since the regular plugs aren't wired together, or perhaps press a switch to occasionally activate a scene once I walk through the door. Has anyone had any luck setting up something like this? If not, is there any chance Kasa might have something like this in the works?

Just got TP-Link KP303 to replace some WeMo's.
Found tp-link does not provide IFTTT triggers, whereas WeMo has for years.
Very disappointing, and probably a non-starter for purchasing more TP-Link.

@Harald_B I was using Kasa/TP-Link smart plugs and switches with IFTTT last year up until around July when it stopped working. I finally got around to doing additional debugging and I can no longer find Kasa listed in IFTTT. My various routines were still there until I logged out of the connection in an attempt to refresh it. I purchased several Kasa products specifically for use with IFTTT and if this functionality is now gone, I will need to abandon Kasa and move to some other product set.
