Unable to set Remote Control on HS200

I have 6 HS200 switches. I can only enable remote control on 2 of them. When I try this on the other devices I get a message that my device is not connected to the internet. This is clearly a phony error message since I can connect to any web site, am logged in to the cloud and can control the switches. The problem is the same on two devices. When I google this issue there are many complaints but no solutions out there.
