Thought I'd close this out. I opened a Support ticket and got confirmation from Support that the HS220 is not able to operate a ceiling fan. I put in a feature (product) request. But good to know I won't be starting any fires in my home or blow out my fan motor by using the wrong product. Still, would have been awesome on a hot, lazy day, sitting on the sofa to just shout to Google to turn on the fan! :-)
