"the best option" Lol. I have 29 devices. It is brain numbing that TP-Link, a company I considered (past tense) to be one of the more consistent home internet of things companies, does not provide a simple way of transferring devices to a new email address account. Clearly TP-Link has no need to stay in touch with their customers, because I assume that the devices will still function under an email that ends up kicking back any of their marketing emails. And I would be delighted if some kind soul would show me the errors of my ways by providing instructions on how the email address update is achieved without having to add 29 devices.

But I found another way to change your e-mail for KASA-app: Install TP-link DECO app on your phone, login in with your KASA-account and follow this https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/kb/detail/279 instructions to change.

After changing you can uninstall DECO-app

 

 

This worked for me. Thanks.

The only hitch was that when I logged back into the community with my new email, it told me SRC1954 was already taken so I changed it to SRC54. Now how do I get rid of the old email account that isn't being used?
