No, the current implementation of Away Mode can run for any one period from 00:00 to 23:59. It cannot run from sunset to sunrise or from 18:00 to 02:00. It cannot span midnight.

Away Mode should also be able to run for multiple periods such as 10:00 to 12:00 and then 13:00 to 15:00.

"Away Mode that can span days "

Is there any reason away mode can't span two or more days? The assumption seems to be that people want to turn things on and off randomly while away during the daytime. But what if a user is away at night or comes home after midnight.

And the design is also that the app uses day of the week for repeating patterns. Why can't the repeating pattern alternatively be based upon the start or end day? More scheduling flexibility is needed.
