TP-Link T6E "the default gateway is not available" error

New T6E installed on windows 10. I keep getting "the default gateway is not available" error and have to reset the wifi adapter with windows troubleshooting and then it works for a few minutes and then I have to reset the adapter again.
My router is a Arris AC router and works fine with all the other computers and laptops I have on my network.
