Hi,

 

I know this question has been answered but the answer does not really make sense. 

 

Basically, I will run Network Optimization using the app, channel 10 will come up as the ideal channel for the 2.4Ghz network. Maybe everything will be fine after running the process. However, after the scheduled reboot takes place (almost every time) I will notice some of my devices are not connecting to the network, when I go and check the Channel Optimization it turns out the channel the router came back from reboot is not Channel 10 anymore. The tool will run one more time and then maybe Channel 10 will be the best again and everything is happy. It is starting to get really frustrating not to be able to use the scheduled reboot and having to go back and do the analysis every time I do. 

 

Could you guys consider a fix in the firmware for the router to remember the last channel used or something like that?

 

It's already ridiculous not to be able to manually select the channel but is even more hassle to have to be dealing with this.
