Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel.37017(5553)

Hello,

The device is configured as an Access Point. It gets it's network settings from a DHCP server on the LAN, I'm also running DNS locally on another device.

The network settings pushed to the AX55 are correct and any wireless device connected to it is able to access the Internet. I have added all my devices (MAC addresses) including the AX55 and all ports of my router to the Allow List.

When I turn Access Control on using the Allow List, the AX55 itself is unable to connect to NTP, ping anything, even the router, it can't connect to TP-Link ID or even check for firmware updates. All wireless devices connected to the AX55 can access them fine. If I turn Access Control Off, then the AX55 can ping, connect to NTP etc.

What is going on?

Thank you
