On the Tether app, there's massive discrepancies between the "Traffic Usage" screen and the device detail screen I can reach from the "Clients" screen.

For example, pic-1.jpg below is the traffic data for my Sony TV (Android TV). On this screen, "Traffic Usage Today" is less than 10 MB up and down. (It was in the same range yesterday too.) But in pic-2.jpg ("Traffic Usage" screen), it says it downloaded 9.7GB today, which is way way higher than what the first screen says.

Overall, the numbers on the "Traffic Usage" screen seem very different from the reality and what my cable modem says the total upload / download are. I'm guessing BE800's number includes local traffic, while the cable modem number includes local traffic too. But even then, it's really weird my TV has ~10 GB downloads today, even though I didn't use it at all today. Yes, it's an Android TV, so I understand it may download stuff even when it's turned off, but the number is still way too high, and if it's download from the internet, then it contradicts with the number of my cable modem. The number on pic-1.jpg is closer to my expectation.

And it's not always high. For example, there's a Linux PC I use for working from home, and today I used Chrome Remote Desktop all day, and according to the PC's own measurement, there was 10 GB download today. But the Traffic Usage screen always says there was no traffic up or down from this PC. (fwiw it's connected to a satellite RE655BE extender, with "Easy Mesh" enabled.)

It seems like these numbers are pretty much mixed up, in an inconsistent way.
