Model: Archer BE900
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 build 20240929 rel. 12298

I had the device for a while with no connectivity issues. At the time it had firmware 1.05, very stable. After upgrading to 1.1.1 our devices will show connected to the to WiFi but the devices will not have internet connection, doesn't matter which band we are connected to.  - Reset the config to factory default without any luck, I assume because it can downgrade the firmware

I've tried different WiFi settings including frequency changes, security changes and trying band binding and separating.

no issues with hardwired connects that I've noticed.

will there be an updated firmware soon? Or is there another option option. I'm sure there is an architecture reason for not being able to downgrade back to 1.05

Please help.

@Awdeaton , came into to community this morning to ask the same question.  Current firmware isn't as good as the prior version with reliability.

@dhamiter I noticed exact issue with same firmware upgrade.  I just applied the latest firmware (1.1.3 build 20241115 rel17800) and STILL seeing it.  Frustrating.

@JBubs that's no fun. Support was able provide an older firmware that was able to work for me. I did update to the newest firmware and I haven't had the issue since. Maybe because I went back to the other one??? However before they provided me the old firmware a temp fix that worked for me (that shouldn't have worked) was changing the security to wpa2. Obviously this wouldn't work for mlo or 6ghz.  One other thing I did that I think helped the most was to log into the modem through a browser and changed the lease time. It seems like it was defaulting to 1 hour, which could be a problem if you have a lot of devices like I have. Since I don't have many new devices frequently I changed the lease time to a week. The industry standard is usually 24 hours.
