Hello Group,

  I have been running my Deco mesh, and cell modem for a good while, in the last few weeks the deco has started to NOT pass data.

Here is my (setup) cell modem (outside) internet comes into office over POE, which plugs into my deco, I then feed my PC with a ethernet cable, and the rest of the home has (4) more pucks.

  When it does stop passing data, I can unplug the POE from puck, and plug it into my PC/win 10, and it works GREAT. I should mention that when it stops passing data, my PC still shows connected--little icon in task-bar, and also in settings in (network), but no data, no wifi, and cannot access the Deco APP on my phone, all the LED's are green!

  I have another backup cell modem I have sitting nest to the Deco puck, and can plug itinto the puck--and it  immediatly works as it should. I can re-boot the outside cell modem and wait say an hour, plug it back in, and it will/may run for 4-6-8-24 hours before doing it again. Oh, did I say I bought another deco 6000 puck--same thing???

  I'm a novice on routers, and have got by on plug & pray---but boy do I need help.

Thanks R

ps open to idea's

  @rockyinmo

When you unplug the cell modem from the Deco, the Deco remains green, altough it does not have access to Internet anymore, and the Deco dropped its wifi signal?

To be clear, when it stops passing data, all led lights and PC icon in task-bar appear normal. (if I unplug ISP ethernet it turns red of course. I can take another cell modem (completely) separate, that is on but Ethernet cable is not plugged into puck--plug it in, and instantly starts working again! I then can take the original ISP Ethernet cable, plug into my PC, and it works perfect. To get the original ISP ethernet to work in the (deco main) I reboot the cell modem, and reinstall in puck, and it will run 2=4=10 hours, and quit again. I have set the dns manually?? thanks for any help, R
