Turning off 5ghz on RE815XE
Hello,
I'm using an RE815XE as an extender just for streaming to my oculus headset using the 6ghz band. I would like to disable the 2ghz and 5ghz radios. The app lets me disable the 2ghz but says I need to use the web tool to disable the 5ghz. When i log into the web tool, there is no option to disable any of them. Is there a way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

You should be able to toggle each Host Network Connection On or Off via the Web GUI under Settings > Wireless > Connect to Network:
From here you can uncheck the options for "2.4GHz Network" and "5GHz Network", leaving only the 6GHz Extended Network active.
Sorry for the confusion. It looks like your firmware has a slightly newer UI design.
Essentially, the three vertical menu options for 2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz in my screenshot have been converted into "tabs" in your newer UI design, which you can find and toggle between in the top-right (boxed in red):
You should be able to select 2.4GHz, 5GHz, or 6GHz at the top right, toggle the box for Enable Wireless Radio, and click Save for each.
For example:
- Ensure Enable Wireless Radio is checked for 6GHz (and required network details are populated) → Click Save
- Uncheck Enable Wireless Radio for 2.4GHz → Click Save
- Uncheck Enable Wireless Radio for 5GHz → Click Save
