Model: TL-WA1201
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.6

I have the access point configured in client mode for my printer to connect wirelessly to our network. This works. My question is how do I access the web based interface of the access point while it is connected to the printer.

http://tplinkap.net does not work.

In the menu of my router I find the IP address that the access point generates.  I type this IP in my browser and it leads me to do the interface of my printer.  There is no other IP address that could be for the exit point itself.

Hi  @WLAN3000

Welcome to the community!

If the TL-WA1201 is configured in Client Mode, then the only method to access its web GUI would be one of two ways:

1. Connect a PC (e.g., laptop) directly to its Ethernet port, then try to access its Web GUI URL.

2. Perform a factory reset on the device (press and hold the Reset button for at least 10 seconds). Once it is in its default state, you should see its default SSID, be able to connect to it, and then re-configure it. This shouldn't be too involved since Client Mode is a relatively simple setup.
