I'm not technically savvy, so I'm certain that plays a role. I connected the X50 Outdoor to ny internal modem via eternity and power cord. It showed connected. We moved it outside to a pole with power cord, it is not connected. What have I done wrong?

To ensure proper functionality, it is essential to connect one Deco unit to your modem using an Ethernet cable. If you wish to place a Deco unit outdoors, please connect one Deco unit to the modem via the Ethernet cable, and the second Deco unit can be placed outside, where it will connect wirelessly to the main Deco unit.
Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware?
