Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: v1_en_us_3_14_3_up_boot(151104)

OK, so I'm a bit frustrated right now. I desided to look up the latest firmware version for my router. I installed it and then tried getting back into it. I put in the IP address and now instead of saying TP-Link at the top, it says Arris (which is the name of my modem). So, why am I being directed to my modem instead of my router? I tried logging into the screen but for whatever reason, it keeps saying iccorect information and locking me out for 20 minutes. Why am I not able to get back into my router settings? What am I doing wrong?

What modem do you have?  It sounds like your modem is a gateway device and the IP address is actually for the product not the TP-Link router.  Also is the TP-Link router in AP mode?  Because that could also be why.  In AP mode your computer needs to be assigned statically to the IP address assigned to the TP-Link router.

Alternatively you can connect to the router's wireless and use the Tether app to access it.
