Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.4 Build 20230906 rel.74809(5553)

My provider allows me two ip addresses. I have a network for the smart home devices only and the ax11000 network for everything else. Should i seperate the available ip addresses to assign into two different ranges. If so 50/50 or an uneven split favoring the archer ax?

  @ereman

Everyones network needs are different.

I never had multiple IPs from my ISP but have had a router and extender.

There is nothing wrong with your setup if it works for you.

I would consider placing the routers in two different areas to get the best coverage so I would get the best speed and connection. I also would consider the devices speed to balance the loads for things like my PCs so I would get the best speed.

I thing it would be very rare where one line would fail and the other would not.
