Just purchased this router and did the quick start setup.

Not sure if relevant, but the device packaging describes it as an AX1800 h/w v4.6, but the system info from the device says AX21 h/w v4.6.

The issue is that the device works properly with 2.4 connections, but it will only allow devices to connect to 5G if no security is enabled. This is true on the standard and guest networks. If any security is enabled on 5G, devices won't connect. I disable security encryption and devices connect fine on 5G.

One other piece of info, if I enable Smart Connect (auto manages devices between 2.4 and 5G) no devices will connect to the router.

I did a firmware update to latest and device reset to factory defaults, and the problem persists.

Any ideas what's going on with this?
