I have a two unit Deco X68 mesh system set up in my 1700 sq foot home. Running WIFI backhaul - not ethernet.  Ethernet is not an option in my use case. 

I am running three SSIDs - main (5GHz and 2.4GHz), work (5GHz and 2.4GHz), and IoT (2.4GHz only).  My "main" X68 unit has full line of sight to the "satellite" X68 unit.

My satellite X68 unit is not transmitting the 2.4GHz wifi band.

How to I get the 2.4GHz transmission to activiate on the "satellite" X68 unit?

Using the WiFiman App sitting next to the "main" X68 unit, I get these results for transmission for each SSID.

Main SSID:

First row is the 2.4GHz transmission from the "main" unit.

Second row is the 5GHz transmission from the "main" unit.

Third row is the 5GHz transmission from the "satellite" unit.

There is no fourth row for a 2.4GHz transmission from the "satellite" unit.

Work SSID:

First row is the 2.4GHz transmission from the "main" unit.

Second row is the 5GHz transmission from the "main" unit.

Third row is the 5GHz transmission from the "satellite" unit.

There is no fourth row for a 2.4GHz transmission from the "satellite" unit.

IoT SSID:

The only 2.4GHz transmission is coming from the "main" X68 unit.

No 2.4GHz transmission from the "satellite" X68 unit.
