Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I would like to know if there is a way to confirm whether the Deco XE nodes are actually using 6Ghz as a backhaul to connect to the main router.

When I look in the app it shows "Connected to Main 2.4Ghz/5Ghz/6Ghz" but this doesn't tell me which one of those it's actually using as the backhaul.

I asked chat support and was told that as long as I see 6Ghz listed there, this means it's using 6G for the wifi backhaul.  Can anyone here confirm that this is in fact the case?   It also shows 2.4G and 5G so how can I be sure it's actually using 6G for the backhaul?

  @SDGTR

The satellite is "connected" to the main via the three wifi networks, it detected that the main is reachabe via the three networks, and is using all three as backhaul.

So it's, indeed, actually using 6G for the backhaul, but not exclusively.

The satellite can spread the traffic among the three wifi network, in order to increase the maximum throughput and reduce the latency.
