I tried setting up my XE75 as a client to protect my home network with Nord and Proton VPNs. Normally, I'm able to get ~300Mbs to clients on the wifi, but with VPN enabled in the router, I only get about 10Mbps. I've tried different protocols with the same results.
Any guidance?
I have noticed the same behavior with a couple of good VPN services. I hope we can get an answer here...
It is the lack of processing power of these Deco units. I purchased a Mikeotik RB5009 and get 500 Mbps with it running the VPN. It is using about 60% CPU at these speeds. The Decos are used solely as access points now.
