Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.12 Build 231117 ref. 33787 (5553)

Archer BE800 router will NOT reconnect to internet after Reboot, Firmware update attempts, or any power outages. I have NEVER had any issues like this w/ any other routers.

Geek Squad set the router up November when I purchased it at Best Buys.

Frontier ISP. No issues w/ their service.

I have unplugged it for 30 minutes, still not connecting.

Any help is soooo greatly appreciated.

Got it. After you've updated to FW version: 1.1.1 Build 20240227 rel.33191(5553) is there any improvement ?

Reboot the router, check how it goes, are you experiencing the same issue as before ?

At the router side (configuration and connections) there's nothing to worry about.

There's a new FW version: 1.1.1 Build 20240227 rel.33191(5553)

It is available through the auto-update feature only for now and to be able to download you'll have to get intenrnet access on your BE800.

Give some more details on your issue like - what'your ISP, what's the connection type of your internet port (PPPoE, dynamic IP, etc.), some screenshots of the Internet port status.

Operation ModeFirmware PagePorts Page  @terziyski - First, Thank you for your help.

I have updated the firmware. I had to reboot 3x until the router didn't have the "!" sign.

Operation Mode: Should one of these be selected?

ISP: Frontier 1GB

Connection to Internet Port: Cat 7 cable

Login your BE800 via web browser - there's more detailed information when troubleshooting issues:

From your screenshot it's not clear in which operation mode the device works:

So once whith FW 1.1.1 is there any improvement ?

If you already have an ISP router, your BE800 can work in both Router mode or AP mode.

If you have only your BE800 in your premises BE800 should be in router mode.

New Operation Mode  @terziyski

Only BE800 needed for access w/ Frontier ISP.

I login to http://192.168.0.1/webpages/index.html on my iPhone. I will my iPad if that's better.

Which screen shot do you want?

According to the status menu your router is connected to your ISP and it has internet connection , i.e. you should be able to access internet with your 18 client devices.

  @terziyski

I have internet access now.

The problem has been, if there are any connection changes, like updates, scheduled reboots, & power outages, the router will not reconnect to the internet on its own.

I have to do several manual reboots. If that does not work, I unplug it for at least 10 mins, if that does not work, I unplug it while I go to work.

Luckily when that did happen, it reconnected after manually rebooting twice after being unplugged for 12 hrs when I got home. This has been my reconnection nightmare.
