@aqua108 I'm only a TP-Link customer as well, but figured I'd chime in since there doesn't seem to be much response from TP-Link employees lately.

The firmware version can be shown if you go to the app, the "More" button, System, Update Deco.  It will show each type of Deco unit you have along with the firmware version.

Can you please describe how you have your XE75 connected, and if you have any other devices connected?

I just connected the Ethernet cable to the deco and plug into the wall outlet. 
the modem is connected to internet provider. 
 

follower the manual instructions that came with it. Easy set to but I'm in an area where WiFi is sporty and electricity is scarce. So after first day of good setup the following day was bad because there was no internet.
