Deco X55 Firmware Update
I have a Deco X55, Hardware Version: V1.26 and Firmware version: 1.1.0 Build 20230522 Rel. 68968
There is a new Firmware available at the website: Deco X55(US)_V1.26_1.2.0 Build 20231229
however when I run the "Update Deco" it says that the System is currently up-to-date
Any ideas or throughts about this issue or work around?
Thank you

OTA (over-the-air) updates are released in batches so as to not debilitate the servers and ensure a smooth installation. This can at times lead to situations like this. What you can do is opt for the manual installation using the file on the website. When you download the firmware you should also see a set of instructions on how to install it on your model. But if not Support can help walk you though the process.

@Carl - I have the exact same issue. I will probably do a manual install of the 1.2 Dec update. While, I can understand that "automatic updates" would be rolled out slowly to avoid overloading the server. However, I would expect that when you manually ask if the firmware is up-to-date, it should provide an indication that a new version is available and allow an update through the web interface - especially when it's been almost 3 months since the release.
BTW - What I'm really waiting for is the 1.11.0 firmware to be released for the v1.26 hardware. I know it is available for beta testing, but seems to only be for v1 hardware and it's not clear if it will work with v1.26 or v1.6 hardware.

The reason is doesn't is specifically because of the tiered rollout. The manual FW search is the same as the automated one the system does on its own. It calls to the server and asks if an update is available. If there isn't one it will reply that you are up to date.
For the Beta the V1 will work with the V1.6 but not the V1.26.
