Add support for wireguard?
I was attempting to add a VPN client to my router when I noticed that there was no option for wireguard with this specific model (or series). I was wondering why there is no support for wireguard even though it is far more performant then something like openVPN. Would it be possible for wireguard support to be added via a firmware update? Is wireguard support being worked on? If the answer is no to these previous questions I would like to ask why there will not be support on this line of router even though there is on many other TP-link routers.

i have Deco X50 which gained wireguard support with firmware "Deco X50(EU)_V1_1.5.5 Build 20240718"
As I am planning to run remote VPN client 24/7, I purchaced more powerfull unit Deco X75 Pro. I upgraded to the l;atest version of firmware "Deco XE75 Pro(EU)_V3_1.2.11 Build 20240724" and replaced my main unit.
It turns out that latest firmware for X75Pro doesn't support wireguard , niether server nor client.
The only good thing is thar swaping main units back to X50 , I haven't lost my wiregurd and ddns configuration.
It looks like cheaper X50 has more cabalilities than X75Pro.
What a wase of money and time. Thank you not TP-Link
