Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.7

I have a Deco XE75Pro that on the box and the units shows hardware v2.6. But in the app it shows as XE75Pro(2.0). Is this showing as hardware v2.0? And why not V2.6? Interestingly enough in the above boxes on the form it does not allow a v2.6, only shows as whole numbers. Not very good TP-Link!!!!

  @oldnfat

Hi, welcome to the community.

Both V2.6 and V2.8 are V2, and share the same firmware as V2.

x.6/.8 is mainly used to identify the place of production.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP

On the bottom of my Deco XE75 Pros

there are markings that seem to contradict each other

They are:

US/2.6

HVIN: XE75V2

My question is - Is my hardware version 2.0 or 2.6?

In the download pages V 2.6 shows latest firmware is 1.2.7 and V 2.0 show latest firmware 1.2.9.

Which should I be using?

Thanks!
