I recently changed internet services left Xfinity and trying out Ziply, the 2 technicians I have seen on two separate occasions told me to buy a mesh system and return my modem as it would be cheaper in the long run since I have to rent the modem.  They both told me the mesh systems would work without the modem and all I had to buy was the 3 mesh system and plug it in directly.  Now I’m being told I have to buy a modem and/or router to make my mesh system work?  I don’t know what to do now.
