You can plug devices on the Ethernet ports of a Deco.

Do you intend using a switch and connecting several Deco as well as other devices to that switch?

That should work, with one exception: if the Deco network operates in Router mode, one Ethernet port on the main Deco must be dedicated to the connection to Internet.  No other Deco and no device should be accessible via that port.
