Model: Deco PX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20230920 Rel 62115

I recently upgraded my home internet from 50mb to 950mb and for some reason the Decos are limiting the throughput to only about 500mb. I have tested from the modem directly and can see it reach speeds of 948mb so it is putting out what I am paying for. The issue i am having is through the PX50. when plugged into the main node (which is plugged into the modem) I get speeds upwards of only 500mb. I don't know if there is some sort of limiter on the bandwidth but even using QoS and setting the download and upload accordingly does not yield any changes.

I did read in another thread there was a FW update for the X20 that caused some slower than expected performance and that the person in that thread had to downgrade to an earlier FW to get the performance back. I am curious if something like that has happened with the PX50? I did update the FW to 1.2.1 a couple months back, but at that time I was only running 50mb speeds. It wasnt until this speed upgrade that i noticed something was not quite right.

And for wireless devices, it gets even lower at around 300mb. My house is roughly 2400sqf and this setup can easily support upwards of 6000sqf so i know i have more than enough coverage for my house. FWIW, the units are using both powerline and wireless backhaul. I'm going to try a different ethernet cable from the main deco to the modem. i read that too could be an issue, but i am using the one that was provided with the Deco so i figured it should be the right one to use from the beginning.

If anyone has any ideas... I'm all ears.
