Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.4 Build 20230906 Rel 74809

I recently updated the Firmware for my Archer AX11000 (version 1.6) a few days ago.  Since then, I've noticed drops in my wifi signal from several of my devices (Roku's), including my cell phone.  This happened before, maybe 12 months ago where I would get random periods of time where my phone (or devices) acted like there wasn't any connection, even though they still show they had a wifi connection.  The issue seemed to resolve itself after some time, although I can't remember why (it may have been a firmware update).  It was very annoying at the time and I was contemplating getting a new router, but like I said, the issue just went away.

For my current issue, I've done several preliminary troubleshooting steps where I reboot the router, reboot my phone multiple times and I still get these issues.  It appears to be random to me.  For periods of time, the connection will be fine, and then I'll have a few minutes where the connection just gets lost but the device still shows as being connected to the router.  However, there will also be periods where I'll be looking at my phone and the wifi icon will disappear, and thus switches to the 5G cell tower, but then just as quickly the wifi icon comes back.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.  The next likely step is for me to downgrade back to the previous firmware release, but at least want to understand if this is a ME problem, or if it is a widespread issue.

@ntgreat This is also happening to me... It was working fine for the last couple weeks but the last 3 days I've been getting a lot of connection problems such as my smart home devices like light bulbs/Led stripes are not responding (or Alexa says are not responding) and I have to restart them, one of my 5ghz bands is suddenly dropping signal (while other bands are working "fine"), My Apple TV suddenly says no internet/Connection error and I have to restart the app I'm using. Not sure what to do. I've tried changing the password thing (WPA3 + WPA 2 to WPA2 only) as suggested on old threads but it didn't solve anything, channels, channel width, and nothing.

(update 26/10/2023) After all the changes I made, pointed above, and the disconnections, I decided to leave it like that but instead of keep making changes on the router itself I forgot the network on all my devices and paired them again, so far it's working as it should and no drops. If I have more drops, I'll do what other people suggested below (downgrading the firmware)

@ntgreat I downgraded to the previous firmware after significant wifi problems, and have a much more stable connection.  Looks like I will skip this update then and wait until the next one.

@ntgreat same issue here.. my phone wont even connect to the main router. I have to walk over to an extender to connect. I downgraded and it seems to have fixed the issue.

I'm glad I checked before I updated. I'd been putting it off as I was busy. Had some time today and then read the issues everyone was having. I have some 35+ devices connected to the router and did not wish to go through resetting them all. I will aslo wait until the next update.

Thanks for the information.

@Palazzja Thank you for posting this. Just downgraded from 1.3.4 Build 20230906 rel.74809 to 1.3.0 Build 20220221 rel.50072 for this Ver:1.26 AX11000. Am beyond tired of being dropped via Wi-Fi with devices saying they are connected with no internet. Likewise, LAN connections periodically drop even though the router is still on with no problems according to its light on top. Thank you all.

I have similar issue - the wired speed isn't passing 100M (should be 1G). Did you found any solution?

I've had similar problems. I found that disabling the second 5Ghz channel fixed the problem for me

@ntgreat I'm having the same issues with the same firmware version. Anyone know if/when they are going to release a new version?
