Access to dangerous site?

Model: RE330
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I had a notification that the TE300 was trying to access a dangerous website few times this morning. Luckily it was blocked but what do I do? I am not very good at technology stuff but just wondering why the extender will try to access such a site? Is it some kind of virus? Should we stop using it?

  @Akrie

Hi, I think you could try to block this access first. Both microad.net and wcdnga.com are advertising domains.

It is very likely that RE330 forwards this request to the main router on behalf of the devices that are connected to the extender.

Thank you very much and best regards.
