HTTPS Disabled. NOW WHAT?

I'm sorry, I do not know the hardware or firmware version because i cannot get into the router.

All of a sudden, I have an issue where when I try to access the router using google chrome, I get an error saying https has been disabled on the router. Not sure why, I haven't changed anything.

So any reasonable person would just delete the 'S" from the URL and try it BUT that doesn't work, and google keeps going to HTTPS. There is a configuration on there I want, that i spent a lot of time doing that allowed my router to be used with my century link dsl modem using a different subnet.

SO how can I access this modem and get my configuration so I can reset it and put that all in again??

Thanks

Try a different browser and also try clearing the browser history. Try a different computer.

  @HopWorks,

How have you been accessing the WebUI? Try using the opposite of what you have been http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 (IP Address of Main Node)

If there was a change in your settings, the most consistent way of accessing the interface will be to wire a PC to one of the Main Node's ethernet ports and using the IP address of the router to access the connection.

If unsure or having problems, make sure that you have followed all steps in this guide: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/87/

If you have connected your router to your TP-Link ID, you may try and see if the Deco's connection is still seen and can be controlled by the Cloud via the Tether App.
