My fiber comes into my basement, that's where the modem is can I run a 25' Ethernet cable to put the main deco axe5300 on the first floor and the other 2 nodes on the upper floors
Hi, welcome to the community.
Normally there shouldn't be any issues to a run a long Ethernet cable from the modem to the main router. While a long cable sometimes reduces the internet bandwidth. It would be great to test with a laptop to see how much speed it could still get from this 25' cable.
