Model: Deco W7200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20230726 Rel. 68630

For some reason

recently router is reporting incorrect, MAC address to modem, and it's only off by one digit. XX:XX:XX:XX:AE is reporting XX:XX:XX:XX:AF to modem.

so modem is breaking connections

cable company can't fix it on their end either.

any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?

  @Mr_Ed_WNC

Hi, You might have a look at this link:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/200420. Though it was old, It did explain the relationship between WAN MAC address and the LAN MAC address on the Deco. So if you need to provide a MAC address to the cable provider, you could use the WAN MAC address-XX:XX:XX:XX:AF

Or you could manually put XX:XX:XX:XX:AF under MAC Clone:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
