How to use one Deco x55 as a standalone router

I bought a Deco x55 3 pack but found I only really needed 2. I would like to take the 3rd unit and set up as a stand-alone router in a vacation home. When I plug it in, it doesn't work as I think it's looking for the main unit in my primary residence. If I remove and reset to factor default, will this allow me to use it as a stand-alone?

Yes, it's doable. When plugged into power, just press a paperclip or toothpick in the reset port on the bottom for about 10-15 seconds to put it back to factory defaults. After a minute or so the light will be blue, meaning it is waiting to be set up.
