Easiest way to replace existing Deco S4 network with new Deco X50?

I just purchased a new set of Deco X50 PoE Wi-Fi 6 mesh to replace my existing Deco S4 system. The SSID and everything will remain the same, only changing the hardware. I run the S4's in access point mode and I will use the X50's in the same manner in their place and the S4's will be removed from service. Besides, completely deleting my existing network and setting it up again from scratch, is there an easier way of setting the new ones up alongside the existing ones to make the transfer more seamless? I mean if I have to delete the network and unplug all of the existing S4's first I will. Or can I just add the X50s as access points to the existing ones and then just reassign one of them as the primary and then take the other ones off-line as needed.

  @dictoresno

Hi, you could start adding Deco X50-PoE as the satellite Deco:

Then switch the satellite as the main Deco:

How to Setup the Satellite Deco to be the Main Deco

Best regards.

i was able to successfully upgrade my network from my old S4's to the x50 PoE. I just did them one at a time and took the old S4 node offlline as i went. PoE is a nice upgrade in itself as is also having wifi 6. network speeds increased slightly over wifi, notably the 3rd upstairs node with only wireless backhaul. with the S4 I was only seeing about 150 Mbps down whereas now im almost hitting 300 Mbps. im on a 400 Mbps plan though Optimum and consistently get 450-460 Mbps down wired, and now 400+ (sometimes almost the same speed as wired) over wifi in the same room as a node. pretty impressed so far with them vs the S4's.
