Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I noticed in a older thread about Decos having the ability to use open vpn protocols that there is a rollout underway around this time. Is it possible to know which models this will roll out, and more specifically, has this rolled out to any models so far? i.e. can I buy a deco mesh setup with this feature today? and if so which model would I need to buy?

Many thanks.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply, and community welcome!

Ok, that's good to know. I'll look into getting one of those.

Thanks again,

Ben

  @David-TP

Hi David,

Feeling a bit stupid as I bought some x50's specifically for the OpenVPN feature, and when trying to update the firmware to latest, I now realize I have a hardware version that does not support this feature. I have x50 version 1.2 which is too new to support the firmware that includes OpenVPN functionality. They also weren't cheap!!

What are my options from here? Is the OpenVPN functionality going to come to my x50's anytime soon?

Ben
