Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20220722 Rel. 58229, 1.0.0 Build 20221020 Rel. 40473

I have the deco-x50-outdoor and the deco-XE200.

The furthest mesh extender client never connects to the nearest mesh extender client and then constantly drops from the network.

in the below example "roof" should always connect to the nearer "balcony" but instead it connects to the further "living room" or "hallway" and drops connection due to the weaker signal.

This page seems to indicate a preferred connection is a feature that is expected.

Any word on when this is expected for the above models? (as this would solve this inefficient connection selection issue)

  @BlueSun

Hi, the current firmware of Deco X50-Outdoor does not support connection preference yet.

By the way, normally Deco X50-Outdoor will be used via Ethernet Backhaul via PoE connection. Do you wirelessly connect X50-Outdoor to the Mesh network?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP yes.  All devices are wirelessly connected via mesh.  Though the deco-XE200 uses the 6ghz as a dedicated backhaul.  I assume  the x50 outdoor can't take advantage of that.

if I restart the outdoor ones multiple times eventually they connect in the right preferred order and the last one ("roof") stops dropping  connections
