Hello

 

i had a tp link WiFi extender for a long time but just now getting it work, it was working fine with great speeds, now the speeds has changed from 10 Mbps download (on steam) to 3-4 Mbps, this has been happening ever since i unplugged and plugged it but in but im not sure if that the problem.

 

im using the WiFi extender with an Ethernet cable connected to my pc ^^

Hi, Would it keep at 3-4m/s for quite a long time after restarting the RE220 or it will gradually recover the speed to 10m/s?

Please also make sure the firmware of RE220 is up to date.

If possible, you could refer to this link to fix the wireless channel on the main router to channel 11 for 2.4ghz and channel 165 for 5ghz:

  @David-TP 

once i reboot it or turn it off and back on it will reach 6-7 mbs then go back down

 

and i upgraded my flimware seem to help a little bit but still not the speeds when i first used the range extender.
