New Release Official Firmware of VPN Client for Archer AX11000/AX6000 V1 is available
Hello Everyone,
We are happy to announce the official release of the new VPN Client firmware for Archer AX11000/AX6000 V1. With this new firmware, you will now be able to configure it as a VPN Client to connect to a VPN Server.

Ready for the new firmware? Click on Check for Updates on your router web GUI or on the Tether App, or you could download the latest firmware from the local website and install it manually on your router.
Archer AX11000_V1_1.3.2 Build 20221128 Official version (Updated on Dec 30, 2022)
Archer AX6000_V1_1.3.0 Build 20221208 Official version (Updated on Mar 6, 2023)
Note: Some new features would not be available when the router is working in Access Point mode.
New Features/Enhancement for Archer AX11000 V1:
1. Improved the stability of the system;
2. Added VPN client;
3. Added switch for the QoS feature;
4. Added IPTV settings in the Tether APP;
5. Optimized Online Client List feature;
6. Optimized the link aggregation feature;
7. Optimized the wireless schedule feature;
8. Modified the Hostname to "ArcherAX11000";
Bug fixed:
1. Fixed some security issues;
2. Fixed the bug that the router keeps dropping connection in some cases;
3. Fixed the bug that some applications fail to open the UPnP ports;
4. Fixed the bug that time machine feature couldn't find the USB backup path after updating the MacOS 13.1 version;
5. Fixed the bug that Alexa custom skill can't enable the WPS feature.

8. Improved the web management UI.

*This official version for Archer AX6000 V1 will not be allowed to be downgraded to the previous version after updating.
This latest version for Archer AX11000/AX6000 V1 also includes some other enhancements and bug fixes. @Kimmildred Now go l look at last 2 pages for the beta firmware and read the comments. Then have a look at the link Kevin last gave and read version number and compare that to the version listed as stable in tp link download site for firmware.

im facing problems with my AX11000 after updating new firmware!
google on other app keep saying I'm offline ! Even though I'm online and other devices are connected ! And only way solve it turn of device Wi-Fi and back on or restart the ax11000 it happend now 6 times in the last 3 days ! Never had this kind of issue before !

@FGARS2 Can you please confirm what are those devices that show as offline on Google? Please try changing the DNS servers on the AX11000 to a common service such as Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8, then check again if those devices are back online automatically.

@Kevin_Z This is what i get on my iPhone 14pm and ipad pro ! on macbook didnt noticed it ! but as said never had this problem before ! ill change the DNS as you said ! just if u can plz guide me where exactly :)

Any reports of folks who have upgraded their 1.6 to the new, official version of the firmware? I am talking about: Archer AX11000(US)_V1.6_1.3.2 Build 20221128
I assume like others, once you upgrade to it, you cannot downgrade back to the previous one?

One observation about this firmware, with the AX6000 (v1), the speed test utility is broken. For example, from my laptop and then what's shown on the router.

@dhamiter I have 1 Gbps fiber connection ! i had my ax11000 hitting 900mb and my mac phone etc 500-600mb after putting my isp in bridge mode started getting on the ax11000 980mb and 650/800 on my mac, phone etc. but never had result that bad like urs !!

The VPN Client Feature has now been added to the official firmware release for the AX11000 v1 and v1.6 and AX6000 v2; with the firmware now available from the model's download page. If your model does not have the new firmware listed, you may continue to use the early access versions below.
Please ensure that you have selected the correct hardware version before downloading and updating your firmware, as not all versions have received an official updated firmware to support the feature.
