I check the website from time to time and noticed a new firmware was listed for my Archer C7(v4) router: Archer C7(US)_V4_211231, Published Date: 2022-03-04.

I downloaded it and unzipped it. The file I downloaded is c7v4_us-up-ver1-0-9-P1[20211231-rel65285].bin

Then opened the TPLINKWIFI.NET app to upgrade the firmware.
Under System Tools>Firmware Upgrade it lists my current firmware as 1.0.8 Build 20190411 rel.65590(5553). Before I did the manual upgrade, I clicked the Check For Upgrade button just to check. It says "your firmware is up to date" and under Online Upgrade it says 1.0.8 Build 20190411 is the latest version, even though the installed firmware is older (published 2019!) then the firmware on the TP-Link website. Why doesn't my router detect that there is newer firmware available? I'm hesitant to do the upgrade.
