We ordered a 2-pack of Deco X20 last week and it turns out it is hardware version 1.26

After upgrading the firmware (latest as of today is: 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50738, Published Date: 2021-03-11) , I am VERY disappointed with the lack of basic features/settings available in the app (the web admin interface is inexcusably worse).

I see there is a v2.0 hardware revision of these with a more recent firmware update (Deco X20(US)_V2_1.0.9_210607, Published Date: 2021-07-08).

So, I am naturally skeptical about how much update support the v1.26 hardware will get compared to the 2.0 revision.

Q1: How do I know if the 1.26 firmware will get an update, and what features it could include? Is there an estimate of new fw updates?

Q2: How do I find out what is different between the 1.26 and 2.0 hardware revisions?

Q3: How do I find out what features and switches are present in the app for the 2.0 hardware revision?

I am almost certain I will be returning these, so any recommendations for less beta-quality router-wifi combos would also be helpful.

P.S. Some of the glaring problems of the 1.26 hardware after updating it with the latest firmware:

- the DECO won't assign a local LAN address to a wired client unless it is connected to modem/gateway

- in the Deco app there is a switch to hide the main SSID, but not the guest network SSID (and yes, I know about the issues around hiding the SSID)
