Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I have a cable modem/router combo from RCN cable company now. I don't know how to connect my A6 because the modem isn't separate from the router. Is there a way to connect with the modem and bypass the router to use the A6?

@Djean

You should always be able to connect the router to the combo modem/router, but the output of the cable modem/router to the router using an ethernet cable. However, if you want to use the router's wireless, you could have problems with interference.

What you need to do it, depending on 'who' owns the combo modem/router, is put that combo unit into BYPASS mode (or on some, on the combo unit disable wireless). I might require a call to your ISP to have them do it.
