no matter what drivers i try beta or not i tried different pc`s different ports i always get the "device can perform faster when connected to usb 3.0"

 

is there a solution to this or should i return them back to the seller ?

If you search the forum there are some other drivers (not made for this particular adapter) that will fix this issue. It worked for me; then it kept uninstalling and reinstalling on me. What finally fixed the issue was a clean install of windows 10; now it says i'm connected to USB 3.0. Problem solved.

@glazos just did a fresh install of win . with the win drivers all works fine with the tp link drivers it recognized as usb 3.0 but it keeps disconnecting from the internet but also from the computer
