I have spent too many hours now trying to get my PS4 to work with my wifi extender. (AC1750)
I have tried static IP

I have tried different SSID from router.

Every-time I try to connect, it times out. The closest I got was with the static IP however it flickered in and out of a connection. I can only assume it couldn't chose what to connect too??? Anyway, any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm out.

@Phippsy

Look at the LED lights on the extender to see if the lights indicate the extender is connected to the router. I think you have a RE450? If so, the 2.4G and 5G should both be on, with the circle LED blue.

If neither the 2.4G and 5G are on, then the extender is not connected to your router, and needs to be reset by holding the reset pinhole next to it for 15 seconds, and set up again.

I would log into the main router, make sure you are not doing any MAC filtering, and see if the extender shows up as being connected.

Leave the PS4 in DHCP rather than static as you connect it to the extender.

@Tony sorry I should of added, everything else is connecting fine, just the PS4 has issues.
Both leds working.
I did a firmware update this morning hoping that would help, but still the same issue.
I have set everything back to factory and checked there was no Mac filtering.

I've managed to move the extender near the PlayStation and run an Ethernet cable from the extender.... internet works however it's a bit frustrating considering the reason I purchased it was for the wifi
