Hello,

Second attempt to get this new TP-Link Archer A10 (2600) to work.

Connecting it to the Actiontec M1424WR Rev1 modem.  Tried via Tether APP and the Internet login method.  Problem is that even though all A10 lights are ‘ON’, it never emits signal.

Tether does not find it (I’ve used Tether previously with a AC1200 MU-MIMO).  The modem login sees the A10 but it fails the PING testing 100%.

The reason for trying the A10 was to find a better Wi-Fi signal than the Nest mesh 3-pack.  Nest/Google is nice, but never quite gives the Wi-Fi speeds it should.

.

Something tells me I have a dead Archer unit.  Feedback?

I would do a factory reset, and do the install again. Then check to see if you have an IP address in the WAN. If not, follow the post "My new router is not obtaining an IP address from my cable modem"
