My modem seems to be dropping my fiber connection multiple times a day. I have tried my provider and my connection is not going out with them. The only way we fix it is to hit reset on the modem.  I have tried switching the cables between the modem and router, updated the firmware, changed the power supply locations. Is there anything else I can try? I don't know what else to try.

If the LED lights on the modem change when the issue happens it may be the modem that is possibly the issue?

 

Have you tried bypassing the TP-Link router and leaving a computer connected for as long as the TP-Link was connected for the issue to happen again?

@Tony  The modem flashes failure when it goes out. I will try connecting my laptop directly the next time it drops and see what the connection is on that.
