I had this same problem, there was a time I reset everything from the factory, and it was solved, but currently it is impossible to do anything, changing the smart connect, removing and putting one band or another and nothing. There is no way to fix it. So if someone also has this problem it would be wonderful or for someone to say if my router is broken, or if it is just a common problem

Do the factory reset and do not use Smart Connect. TP Link does not explain Smart Connect very well but it does what it says. By using it, you lose control over a lot of functionality such as controlling the different bands as it is all controlled by the Smart Connect feature. You could also try removing or changing the password to something else, forgetting the network then connecting back.
