Yes, has Smart Connect, /https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2595/

Most home residential routers can only connect at one time 32 devices per band/SSID. However, up to 254 devices can be assigned IP Addresses, but the limit is on 'active/connected'. Want more, need commercial routers. Note that some routers will allow less than 32 even. You'd really need a fast Internet connection and high powered router (CPU) to handle 64 devices active at the same time as well.

@IrvSp Thanks for answering, but in the product description of the Archer A6 it does not mention that it supports Smart Connect as it does with the C80, I just want to be sure that the purchase will have this function  Smart Connect

Well, you might be correct? I do not have an A6 so I looked at the Smart Connect link I gave you, from it:

as you can see it IS listed.

However, the link to the Firmware Emulator doesn't have how to enable it, https://emulator.tp-link.com/a6-us-v2/index.html?

Conflicting information to say the least? I'll assume you've looked on the box already? Might try contacting TP-Link directly using this page, https://www.tp-link.com/us/about-us/contact/, or hope someone that has an A6 can confirm or deny, or a moderator (@tony) jumps in?

The A6 is a fairly cheap router, so maybe it was never implemented. A newer model, the A9 though does have Smart Connect though, but costs almost twice as much.

I wouldn't worry about Smart Connect (at least I don't, don't even use it) that much. If you know how to make a device connect to the SSID you want, you don't need Smart Connect.

I'd look closer at the A9 and C80, similar pricing. I think the A9 is US only though. Check this page, https://www.tp-link.com/in/compare/?typeId=9&productIds=39590%2C31424, but it might not all be correct or have complete data. That are about the same price.

@IrvSp I like the c80 but I don't know where they sell it in the USA, it's not in AMAZON

Google 'buy archer c80' and you can find some places.

Note that at least one said 'only 3 left' and another said 'ships from Canada'. That should tell you something.

I have an Archer A20, quite similar to the C4000. A series is TP-Links 'value priced' series and in many cases has matching features, but has different chips sets. A series I think are only sold in the US as well.

Back to 'That should tell you something', a friend wanted to get an A20 as well. However the prices were 'off-the-wall' if anyone had one for sale? Much like video cam camera's at the beginning of the Pandemic, stocks were bought out by people for video conferencing in a hurry. Took months to get a specific one as they had to be manufactured and stocked. My version is V1, and TPL was changing it and putting out a V3 (not sure if a V2 existed?) and all of a sudden when those shipped, it was easy to get. Same basic spec's I've been told here, just different chipsets and firmware. Of course the V1 is 'end-of-life' now, less that a year after introduction, not a good thing.

Again, look at the A9 and compare the specs in the Support section, not the sales section. Although the CPU for the A9 isn't shown there either.

I can't answer this question? However, there are things to think about? Power Supply, will it work in the US (I don't think so), but will the Warranty be good in the US? Could you get Firmware update? A US firmware version might not load.

As I see it, you've got another option, actually 2, wait for the C80 to become available here, or get the A9,

Maybe you can find one 'used'?
