OneMesh- RE305 not connecting to Archer A6 in 5Ghz network
Hi,
I have bought A6 router and RE305 wifi extender to configure it work in Onemesh mode. Once setup is complete , i noticed that Extender is not connecting to Wifi Router in 5ghz mode and this leads to it connecting in 2.4ghz and me receiving very slow internet as speed is limited to 55Mbps in 2.4ghz.
Please let me know how wifi extender will connect to 5ghz mode in onemesh setup

The 5G does not have the distance the 2.4G has so you may be too far from the router. Set up the extender in the same room of the router to see if both bands connect, then move it to a closer area then where it was previously.

Hi ,
I have now disabled Smart Connect feature which has led to 2 SSID i.e 2.4ghz and 5ghz on OneMesh. Then i updated the Channel to 44 manually for 5ghz , post that Repeater is able to connect on 5ghz with main router from its current location.
But if i enable Smart Connect back again to use the feature of having 1 SSID then its not connecting on 5ghz frequence with main router and speeds are low because of it
